Our Ministries
It is our hearts' contention to serve Christ by serving others.

Southern Evangelical Church members are seriously active-- serving in ministry through our church, our community, and for those in need here and around the world.

For every opportunity to participate you see, there is also an opportunity to serve-- through missions, through ministry, and through prayer. We believe every person has spiritual gifts given to us by God, and we please Him when we express them through the church body!

Men's Ministry

The Men’s Ministry is committed to helping men be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Rom 12:2) that they may become men of God. Our goal is to help men live holy and righteously in Christ Jesus that He may be known in our homes, church, community and to the ends of the earth. Meetings are every first Saturday of the month at 8:00 am and include breakfast, fellowship, prayer and discipleship. For more information, visit the Mens Ministry Blog online at http://secmensministry.blogspot.com

Women's Ministry

The women gather for prayer, an inspirational message, and a delicious breakfast the fourth Saturday of every other month, except December, which is held the second Saturday (February, April, June, August, October, and December). In addition, the annual spring retreat offers dynamic speakers, activities, free time, choice accommodations and the opportunity to:

Rest from the demands of everyday life, because
Every woman needs
Time alone with God to
Reflect on the direction of her life,
Examine her spiritual walk,
And nurture herself
To be all that God has called her to be.

Homegroups

In order to obey Christ’s command to “Love one another,” we need to know one another. Homegroups allow us to connect with other believers by gathering weekly in homes to eat together, talk together, laugh together and simply enjoy being the “body of Christ”. Groups will meet at whatever time seems convenient, eat a meal together, study the Bible, and pray for one another. If you are ready to get personally involved with other Christians, talk to Jim and Jeri Zangmeister.

Homeschool Fellowship

SEC Home Educators Fellowship provides home-educators with a supportive structure by building relationships through fellowship, education, and recreation.
